Web Content

For many small to medium businesses the effort to maintain website content is a significant overhead. With proper planning, both the creation and the later maintenance of web content can be outsourced, without losing the character of your business and branding.

The basic strategy is for you to decide “WHAT” you want to publish (which can be in a rough outline format) and for use to decide “HOW” we present that in the best way to make your content attractive to your customers. There are 3 major aspects of web content creation:

Compose Pages

The purpose of the website is to communicate with, and inform, prospective customers on what you offer. There use different strategies to present the information as prospective customers navigate the website. To create simple websites, we can use a casual approach. For a more complex site we should establish a formal project that is more involved than stand-alone pages.

Your writing reflects on your company: the impression you create can build or destroy confidence in your offers. Often a second pair of eyes makes a major difference in creating collateral that sends the right message you have in mind when you sit down to write. To that end, we offer flexible services for creating written materials that show the best of what your business has to offer.

While we do not build and manage websites, a major part of building a website is to populate it with content. We pride ourselves on the content creation services we provide. It is important to make sure that what you post online reflects your company image in the best way possible, and a major part of that is to ensure your collateral is grammatically correct. A website without quality content can be a liability rather than an asset.

Perhaps you have content waiting to be edited: if you require research or technical writing to create original content that increases the scope of content design to present the information. You cannot assume to use supplier’s information without consent: it may be better to craft custom content to introduce (and link to) manufacturer’s information.

Make sure you have a good handle on WHAT you want to say before we get deep into HOW we are going to say it and present it on a website. The latter is our domain in website building. We can help with WHAT you want to say in a more complex project, as there may be different implications, depending on what data you want to use.
